Peppermint oil can be extracted from the leaves of the peppermint plant and is used for a variety of purposes. It has a sharp odor that\u2019s cool and refreshing. This helps to decrease the trapping of air and other bowel contents and relieves abdominal bloating, wind, discomfort and pain.<\/p>\n<p>After oral administration, peppermint is rapidly absorbed.
